PRODUCT DETAILS
Majolica is a special type of glazed ceramics and has a long history. Molded and dried earthenware products are fired at up to 900 degrees and then by dipping, a glaze slurry of tin oxide is applied. In the next step, the products are dyed and painted and fused a second time at 1100 degrees. This creates a glossy surface that makes the colors shine brightly. The plates are microwave safe, but should be washed by hand.
